Splenic metastasis from ovarian cancer is unusual. Most splenic metastases are encountered in the settingof widespread visceral metastases. We present 6 cases of splenic metastasis of epithelial ovarian cancer. Threecases underwent a splenectomy as a part of interval debulking surgery, and the rest received a splenectomy asa surgery for recurrent disease. The splenectomies were well-tolerated in all patients and no serious morbidityor mortality resulted. Only one patient experienced a transient elevation in platelet count.
