Tobacco use is a major risk factor for Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), causing death of over 8 million people per year aroundIndian Society of Clinical Oncology the world. Tobacco-related cancers are a common concern for all countries and LMICs are suffering more in view of scarce treatment resources. Tobacco use impoverishes families, impacts their well-being, increases inequalities, and damages both the society and the economy.

Taking this background in consideration, we are organizing "International Conference on Tobacco Control and Smoking Cessation" virtually on 20th August - 21st Aug 2021 in collaboration with Asian Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention (APOCP) and Tobacco Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.   .
